In Component 2 you'll dive deeper into three different forms of media, exploring how they are created and how they connect with audiences. You’ll look closely at set products, analysing how media language is used and how different groups, ideas, and issues are represented. You’ll also investigate the bigger picture... how social, cultural, political, historical, and economic contexts shape the media we consume every day. On top of that, you’ll explore how media industries influence what gets made and how it’s shared, as well as how both mass audiences and niche audiences are targeted and engaged.​
This component will be assessed with an exam worth 35% of your A-Level.​​
